My Mom's Evil Cat Part 2

Munchy is back on the screen with a new hissy fit. She used to like me then one day decided she hated me without cause. All I have to do is say her name and she hisses at me. :(

Cat's not evil... She's probably angry because you're petting her wrong. Cats often don't like to be petted on the head from the front because they think they might be hit. The hand is the enemy to them - you're toying with the cat.

I have a cat who's the same. They just have preferences in how to be petted. They don't know how to tell you it's wrong so they hiss.

Well this cat doesn't care how I pet it. My parents do the same thing and she doesn't hiss.

I doubt it. You parents probably approach her differently. Maybe you could give her a treat and it'll help her calm down around you.

Tried that. She's nice until the treat is gone, Then she hisses. I don't even have to touch her. She'll hiss at me even if I'm ignoring her. There is no winning with this cat.

Okay, to the retards who are all "YOU MUST HAVE ABUSED IT!" That's so not true. Some cats will be loveable and affectionate as kittens, but choose to hate a particular pattern of human being(Most of the time, female cats tend to just start hating men out of nowhere) And some cats just hate everyone, but take to only one person. It's just something they develop sometimes.

And he's petting it. And speaking to it in a happy, affectionate tone. This is not abuse. :\

@SukineKira Cats are bred to have certain temperaments. It's often advised to have cats as a pet based on what breed they are and who they are compatible with and what the best environment is. Some breeds do better with children, some are more sociable while others prefer to be alone, etc.. Probably the same is true with dogs and their various breeds, but I'm no dog expert. :P

Oh love the kitty I have a female cat that does that you can only pet her on her own terms.. so I pet her on my own terms so she does that. I love on her daily lol

@QuietCannon Exactly my thoughts when I'm watching the majority of these "evil cat" videos. I know I used to have to keep away from my mom's cat because as soon as I got near her she would try to scratch me and would growl... She doesn't do that anymore, and has taken a liking to me since my mom's absence... but now she'll do the whole scratch and growl rigamorole to my dad. Some cat's just like one person more than others... and dislike other people :/
