Rev. Fr. Jojo Zerrudo takes Our Lord out of the tabernacle and is brought to the Altar of Repose by a solemn procession and is worshipped by all. This commemorates Our Savior's institution of the Sacrament of Sacraments - the Most Holy Eucharist, and also reminds us of the capture and the betrayal of Our Lord as he was taken away for his trial.

  • napakaaaaaaaaaa-banal!!!!

  • Is that a tabernacle? I don't think so.

Pardon but the Altar of Repose should have a tabernacle. And a tabernacle has a door and a key.

In reposing the Most Blessed Sacrament on Holy Thursday evening, a TABERNACLE is needed, not a cremation urn-like receptacle or those that give an impression of a tomb.

  • Thank you for posting this, and the other video that I just added to the Easter 2 playlist, both of which were recorded in the Phillipines. Isn't it amazing that, in place of bells, we hear the mournful sound of a clapper? This is the solemn reminder that Jesus is headed to the Garden of Olives, where he will be captured and arrested. Judas will betray him, Peter will deny him, and the other 10 disciples will forsake him and flee.

All of us, I think, have a role in Jesus's suffering!
