i love the version dont be confused but the subtitles... i dont know if im gonna be irritated or amused or laugh at it.. it is so wrong!!! specially the brainsick? where did you got that? and the explanation/description doesnt really help it will take away the meaning of the song.. really.. but you are right the "torete" has various meaning in Filipino but in the song it means "MESMERIZE" so the subtitles really defy the logic/concept/meaning of the song.. i love the song but the subs.. HUH..

As I understood it, 'she' doesn't want 'him' to 'fly' away. So if she had just one wish, she'd ask him if she could hold his hands, and she secretly prays to see him reciprocate the act with a smile - a smile that reaches the heavens (figuratively).
So she's crazy in love for him, and yet she won't force him to grant her that wish - of letting her hold his hands.
This wistful song is all in her head; she really hasn't gotten the nerve to ask him yet. So she pines, forever.
