Broomfield, Louisville, Superior, Fort Collins, Highlands Ranch have all been ranked in the top 25 best places to live in the US recently (CNN Money). Louisville, Superior, and Broomfield are all pretty close to Boulder. Boulder is an excellent place to live, along with the majority of Colorado.

@CohenKenny Would it be a good place to raise kids?[recreation, schools, hospitals, entertainment, cost of living, etc] ?

@platinum243125 Very good for recreation (biking, hiking, walking, etc. - Boulder is an outdoors-oriented community), schools (no personal experience), hospitals (hospital in town and one on the outskirts), entertainment good (lots of local events). Housing is expensive. 300 days of sunshine per year, cold and snowy winters, hot dry summers.

@CohenKenny Any rivers, lakes, or other bodies of water?
platinum243125 8 months ago
@platinum243125 A river thru the center of town (but the rivers are not huge here), lakes up in the mountains, small lakes on the eastern edge of town. Boulder is the point where the prairie meets the mountains - flat to the east, foothills and mountains to the west.

@platinum243125 to continue first post - Forest fires in nearby mountains last summer, but did not reach the town. You are at the doorstep of the Rocky Mountains - a fantastic location and a beautiful and friendly town.
