  • Can someone help me or give me advise?

I bought this camera and when I'm making a 2 minute movie in HD quality and I play it back I hear only sound for 40 seconds. The movie is still going but I have no sound for the rest of the time. Is this a malfunction or do I need a better memory card? And if so wich card is the best for this camera?

I don't have this problem shooting movies in a lower resolution. But I like to have it working in HD as well!

    Does anyone know the answer?

  • @Nuldertien Thats most likely your memory card being to slow / cheap. I use a Class 2 memorycard with 15 mb/sec read speed. It works good for me! I suggest you to get a new memorycard. I'm pretty sure that's the problem. Never heard of that kind of malfunction. Good luck :)

  • i got a casio h 10 for my birthday and i just used hd movie mode today

and the sound cuts off after like 30 seconds..

    any ideas?

  • @trinity00matrix00 Bring it back to the store where it was bought.

  • I need help with shooting timelapse with this camera

  • woooooooooooooow

  • Not all devices support memory larger than 4GB, but you can try. Also, the higher the Class # the faster the card is.

  • @ carloscarmo: FAT or NTFS or FAT32 are format types of storage media e.g. HDD or USB stick or SD cards. Go to my computer, insert your card to the SD card reader an the SD symbol is visible on my computer. click with right mouse on symbol and choose format. There you see the format types. For cameras I recommend to choose FAT. Once done the card should work.

  • Nice vid!! Can we use a 16 GB card with this camera?

  • @trinity00matrix00 Hello, i have exactly the same problem than you if i use a 8 GB card, however if i use a 4 GB card it doesn´t happen and the sound keeps fine during the movie. Tell me something about what they say too you, cause i don´t want to buy other 8 GB card if the problem is not the card. Thanks a lot
