@takenupjo The answer to your question is no. the 420a and the neon motor are two different motors, they wont work.

@danielkabuto Yes you can. They are the same tranny NVT-350. There are 3 different NVT 350. One with a 3.55 final drive ration, 3.94 final drive with a .71 5th gear and then a 3.94 final drive with a .81 5th gear. The difference is the neon got a cable clutch and the dsm cars got hydraulic. You have to swap bellhousings to make it work.
