In the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing of 1995, demand increased among early responders for training in realistic scenarios. That demand led Texas A&M University's College of Engineering to create "Disaster City," a 52-acre training facility featuring full-scale, collapsible structures designed to simulate various levels of disaster and wreckage. In this interview, we learn more from Kemble Bennett, dean of the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University.
