Beverly Harlton, flute
Rafael Henry, piano

This is a video from my senior flute recital, taken 20 September 2009 at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I'm playing the first movement of Mozart's sonata in F major for flute.

  • @zdenek1113 No. UL does not provide pianists. Our staff collaborative pianist outright refused to play with me, so my church choir director offered to play for me. Unfortunately, he was very ill before my recital and did not have much opportunity to practice, and he is more of an organist, anyway (it is my understanding that the technique is very different from that of piano).

  • Dear Beverly,

Was The University unable to provide you with a really professional pianist for your exam?
