It's just as well she doesn' need people. Poor Marianne, she was so lovely as a young woman. What a shame she gave it all over to drugs and booze.

Severe laryngitis coupled with persistent cocaine abuse during her career permanently altered the sound of Faithfull's voice, leaving it cracked and lower in pitch - beautiful, just in a different way from her early years.

WoW what a song and what a life she has lived so far.. I am kicking myself for not seeing her in concert a couple years back.
