Intro the KSU Majorettes

Kentucky State University added the auxiliary twirling group to the Marching Thorobreds in January 2009 thanks to the efforts of Sophia Marie Thompson. Sophia is originally from Piney Fork, Ohio, the daughter of Jacqueline (Jennifer) Hartzell and grand-daughter of Diane Figurski-Speer.

Lol this is the opposite of our high school majorettes. All our majorettes are white and have always been for as long as I can remember. But next year I'm going to be the first black majorette. : ) lol. If I make it...
