One more thing. ASIC searches are for business and company names, you cannot search a persons name...

@HarvardLawAlumnus You are in an airport. A prescribed area he can stop and search you if he wants to (a condition of entering a the airport you owuld of noticed the big blue signs stating this as you entered) and if you dont like that and you refuse it you can be detained for the purposes of a search.Although he didn't even do that. . Oh and Welcome to Australia a place where money and power dont always get you what you want. If you are a lawyer your shit at it.... simple as that

And also watching this video I can clearly see that he was not detaining you, you had every right to leave the point he was trying to make was you can leave but you wont have your lisence. Also he has every right to do a random cheak for national security purposes.

@rachealapfelbaum... There is nothing suspicious nor sinister in that! Here's some advice for you racheal before you bite more than you could contemplate chewing.... Don't speculate! Law is creature of precision, say what you want but get it right! You idiot, you can't even get the law right!! Now you fucking fat slut... Your next lesson will be in civil procedure and the tort of defamation and publication of injurious falsehood! I have a writ waiting for you. Rachael felbaum, you are pathetic

Those powers are not absolute and are not automatic. You have neither access to the evidence and or information. A person driving a $400,000 dollar mercedes s65 AMG night arrow is clearly a person who can afford to carry a few thousand dollars in cash. There is nothing suspic

The authorities are replete with examples of what constitutes reasonable suspicion. "reasonable suspicion" does not constitute any "any far fetched or fanciful or remote suspicions"! It is a question o

... @rachaelfelbaum (fucking ugly fat cunt! Learn something... The powers of detention you speak of "provision of name and address to police when stopped" are derived from the Criminal Investigation & Identifying Peoples act (WA) (introduced by my former tutor in law Jim McGinty) DO NOT apply at the Perth airport!! Dumb slut! The airport is a commonwealth place! Stop embarrassing yourself. Commonwealth legislation unlike the legislation of the states are characteristic in that they often have p

@rachealapfelbaum... I suggest if you wish post comments, make them accurate! The first point would be to determine what laws apply! Firstly, the relevant legislation (u pathetic amateur) which determine which laws apply at the perth airport is the commonwealth places act (Cth) as amended. s.109 of the constitution (Cth) then operates to determine which of the state and or commonwealth legislation relevantly apply to the extent of any inconsistency. Now, you stupid fucking whore (fucking ugly f
