@robbydesigns You are assuming too much. Nobody said anything about winning a fight by making funny signals with their hands. These mudras are designed for locking and throwing the oppontent. Yes, they have health and spiritual purposes also. But they are primarily designed for chin-na and anti-chin-na applications. You seem quite proud of your knowledge. Perhaps with some humility, the deeper secrets will be revealed to you.

@BenjiKibitokai1 For you who get your martial arts knowledge from cartoons, this seems like rather harsh criticism from a know-nothing. Really, go to a dojo and learn real martial arts. Anime is not what you should be looking for to learn the Way.

@banjobilly An eloquent and illuminating response. All the best, Sir.
Why is that when I did the second set of mudras a heat started flowing out of my palms? Is this fire style by any chance?
ashtonbeharry 3 months ago
@ashtonbeharry Heat from the palms is an indication that your qi is flowing. There are many philosophies that claim that various elements such as fire or water dominate the various mudras but it is better to explore the mudras, yourself, to find what they contain rather than be influenced by (perhaps) a wrong idea. Yes, different meridians are in different fingers but it is your qi that flows, not some ideological fire or water or earth element.

why is this so hard to do?
remet911 7 months ago
@remet911 It's probably difficult because you are trying to learn it all at once. Just learn one mudra at a time. Practice it for a while, as you calm your mind with the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra. Then learn the next one. As Lao Tsu wrote: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single foot step." One step at a time, and you will complete the entire journey.

Nice video buddy, but I think u shouldn't share this kind of knowledge with the world :/ u don't think that a lot of stupid people will use this like a game? :/

@IamRekion Ignorance does not improve people; only knowledge can do that. So, if you want people to be healthy, happy and prosperous, isn't it best to also give them the knowledge that will allow them to excell? Even in the darkest place, a ninja -- as well as all people -- has the Light within him or her. The mudras are merely tools for finding that light and holding it.
