  • we didn't and don't dance like this. I'm notfull blood or anything, but I've grown up in cherokee territory Oklahoma, where the culture is pretty significant. Cherokees didn't adorn in feathers until settlers came and wanted to see the feathers and everything that's really steriotypical native american...sometimes they wore roaches, but that's it. Still, it's a neat video.

  • @cataubawoman I suggest going to museums. I learned many things from actual native Americans. I had a college professor who was full blooded Cherokee and she showed us pictures and things like that of real native Americans. She lived on a reservation to at some point in her life.

  • @HoneyAndSulfur1991 I am ignorant, but I want to learn. Can you suggest a reliable source of information so that I do not see and learn lies? Thanks!

  • His Bustle Feathers should NEVER touch the ground, and a TRUE Traditional Dancer would NOT DANCE BACKWARDS for any reason, because Dancing Backwards means the Dancer is WEAK, and Traditional DO NOT DANCE WITH BACK STEPS

  • Nothing about this dance is Cherokee - this is a plains Indians style "northern traditional" dance. All you people claiming to be Cherokee & saying this is a Cherokee dance need to learn the culture that you are claiming!!! Keetoowah13 is correct, it's a plains traditional dance and WE DID NOT LIVE IN TIPIS!!!

  • Cherokee women ruled the tribes............not men. This is fake and all you will see in NC. Nothing is real about it, its all for show and money. Ignorant people think it is real. The Cherokee didn't even wear clothes like that. The majority had top knots of hair and as I said before the women ruled the tribe.

  • Ok for one this is an authentic Cherokee dance it is a religious dance it is not fake stop being a dick and putting down my people I am full blooded Cherokee and just because u are a dumb ass doesn't mean u have to act like one if u didn't like the video then fuck off and stop bein rude u can be pale and cherokee and to the person speaking Cherokee hello to you to

  • the guys just really gotta shit so hes shaking it out of his ass

  • thats not cherokee. it may have been filmed in Cherokee NC and the dancer may be cherokee but the dance is not cherokee. It looks more northen traditional or northern grass.
