The Lakers broke out to a 22-point lead in the first half and clobbered Boston, 89-67, Tuesday night to force a seventh and deciding game in the NBA finals. Kobe Bryant scored 26 points in the Game 6 win. Game 7 is Thursday night in Los Angeles. (June 16)

whats even sweeter about the win is that I dont remember the lakers ahking hands witht he celtics after game 7.!! Thats good. i hate boston. Not a lot of people relalize ti but the LAkers werew under serious pressure last night. Check this stat out. With Phil Jackson as coach of the lakers, when the lakers have won game 1 of ANY playoffs series, they have never went on to lose that series. They are 48 - 0 in winning the playoffs series after winning the first game. hats an incredible record. THey beat the Celtics in game 1 of the NBA FInals in 2010 so if they celtics would have won game 7 last night lakers would have becem 47 - 1 !
