On April 9, 2008, I was filming the band Rufus (w/o Chaka) that included John Robinson on drums, Bobby Watson on bass, Michael Thompson on lead guitar, Roman Johnson on keyboards and Vesta was asked to be a guest vocalist. This is just some of the interview I did with Vesta at S.I.R. studios in Hollywood as they set out to rehearse.

  • @IMissMyMichael Hello, I think in a previous post you mentioned Vesta died from hypertension and heart disease. The term heart disease is broad, and it can cover a lot of heart conditions, so that doesnt pinpoint the exact one. It can be a heart attack,a stroke, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, etc. Heart disease is general, the cause of death would be one of those

  • Her laugh is soooo UniqueThe hair color is lighter and shes thinner in this video. But that laugh is unmistakable! That voice will be missed, but we have her music here that will carry on her memory.

  • So beautiful! a Big Loss. Wish we could have seen much more of Vesta. She was truly underrated

  • Sad Ending Man..
