Honestly, what's so difficult to understand? The band name is "THE HONG KONG".
That's it, It's just a name!
Similar to "NAZARETH" (from Scotland), "ASIA" (U.K.), "BEIRUT" (Brooklyn via Santa Fe), "BERLIN" (California) and even close to "BOSTON" (Boston) or "KANSAS" (Kansas).
If THE HONG KONG were from Hong Kong my guess is that the video would be shot after shot of retards posting ridiculous comments on YouTube... Based on the what I'm reading here.
