Stockholm Europride 2008 - Love Mass (There will be Freedom)

An official Love Mass was held at Stockholm Cathedral following the Europride 2008. Gays and lesbians took part in a mass dedicated to love and officially celebrated by the Swedish Church. As the congregation left the cathedral following mass, the gay and lesbian choirs that had taken part in the service sang the South African "Freedom" song, joined by the congregation and the clergy, which included the bishop of Stockholm.

Mass is wonderful meeting between God and people, something very special! I hope Jesus will show You His True love and might!

There is wisdom to be found many places where people congregate. And religious sentiment takes many forms. Luckily, I am a very happy person who also enjoys accepting invitations from people to join them in their way of celebrating life. I am not a churchgoer in general, though. The bible is an amalgam of scriptures, and like all products of human endeavour, it has both good and bad sides. Luckily, Scandinavian churches have descided to embrace life and love, not condem it.:)

so we have freedom as long as we do what jesus says? jesus will love us but condemn us to eternal hellfire if we dont follow the rules laid down by some random jew before he was even born? lol.
