Sara's POV
------

I woke up before my alarm again. I don't know why I set it...I guess encase for some mysterious reason I sleep past 7:30...I walked over to my new desk and turned it off. Then I walked over to my closet and picked out some really dark jeans, a white tee, and a red cable knit sweater. I slid into that and tugged on my red All Stars. Then I went into the bath room and brushed my hair, brushed my teeth and put on a little lip gloss and mascara. I walked down stairs and took a granola bar from the box and opened it. I started to nibble on it while I fooled around with the coffee maker. I figured Hannah might want a cup before going on her now usual 12 hour Saturday shift. I started the coffee, finished my granola, and walked out side to get the paper for Ali. I walked down to the end of our drive way and picked up 'The Wyckoff Times'. I walked back into my house and put it on the table then left a note for my sisters and Uncle I'd be back around 9:00 I was going for a walk.
I grabbed my Nano and walked back outside. I turned it on to Maroon 5, and started to walk up the street. I was humming along, absorbed in the song when I passed a guy. I gave a wave and continued on. I turned around to come back when I passed the guy again. Either I was slow or He was fast. I waved again and we both stopped. "Long time no see." He joked. I laughed. "What's your name?" He asked. "Sara, and You?" I replied. "I'm Joe." He said. "Where do you live?" He asked after a good silence. "I'm right here." I said pointing to my house three houses a way. "Really well I'm right there." He said pointing to the one across the street from mine. "I haven't seen you around before, Did you just move here?" He asked. "Yea...I live with my two sisters and my uncle." I said. "Where's you parents?" He asked. "Uh...They died..." I said quickly. "Oh...I'm sorry."
"No...Don't be...My Dad hit and My mom was an alcoholic." I quipped. "Wow..." He said. We started walking back to my house. Apparently we have the same favorite movie, ice cream flavor, and bands, and we will be in the same grade. "Hey Sara?" He asked when we got back to my house. "Yea?" I asked. "Do you wanna go see a movie or something tonight?" He asked. I smiled. "Sure Joe." I said. He smiled. "7 okay?" He asked. "Yea."

I walked into my house grinning. "Wow. I haven't seen her smile since we moved here." Ali said as I entered the kitchen. I sat down in a chair. She was reading the comics. Hannah was drinking a cup of coffee. "Where's Uncle Andy?" I asked looking around. "He left on a business trip this morning." Ali said. "Oh..." I said. Hannah looked at her watch. "Crap, I've gotta go! I'm gonna be late!" She exclaimed. "Sara, I need you to stay with Ali. There's ravioli in the freezer. Don't answer the door for strangers, here's $40." She said she grabbed her cream colored jacket and gave us a hug and ran out. "She's such a mom." Ali joked and went to IM her friends.

Around 1 I walked into Ali's room. "Wanna go get some lunch?" I asked. "Sure." She said closing her laptop. She went to her closet and grabbed her brown zip-up. She was wearing faded jeans and a pink "Life is Good" tee shirt. "Can we go to Cici's?" She asked. "Sure...If I can find it..." I replied. We walked out the door and check on the dogs. Then we walked off in search of macaroni pizza. After about half an hour later we found one right next to Target. We walked in and got our pizza and root beer. We sat down in a small little booth near the back. "Hey Sara?" Ali asked quietly. "Yea Ali?" I asked. "You're an awesome sister." She said. "You are too Al." I said. We both smiled the a bubble popped in her root beer making us both laugh. Right as we finished out lunch we saw Hannah walk in. She looked tired already. "Hannah!" Ali waved. Hannah looked over and smiled. She walked over. "What are you guys doing here?" She asked. "Lunch." I replied. Then a guy walked over. "Hey Hannah." He said. Hannah turned around and smiled. "Hey Jonas!" She said. "Jonas?" I asked. "Yea...Why?" Hannah asked. "I met a guy this morning named Joe Jonas." I said. Kevin nodded. "That's one of my brothers." He said. "One of?" Ali asked. "There's four of us, Me the oldest, Joe who's 17, Nick who's 15, and Frankie who's 9." He said. "Cool!" Ali said. "Kevin, this is Sara, who's 16, and Ali who's 14." Hannah said. We talked for a while then Hannah had to get back to her shift. Ali and I said good bye to Kevin and walked out. "He was kinda cute." Ali said. I laughed.
