Henry Gray was raised in Louisiana, giving his rolling 88s a slightly different slant. When he lived here in the 50s, he recorded as a sideman with Jimmy Reed, Little Walter, Billy Boy Arnold, and Howlin' Wolf, eventually spending a dozen years in Wolf's band.
