My friend's car gets destroyed by an in-experienced racer at Mosport in 2006. There's $30,000 down the toilet.

question for @gman1868... Who is the inexperienced racer in this video? If anything my guess is the one of the outside of 10... but still, this is the lowest level possible of car racing, so isn't everyone relatively in-experienced?

No kidding the other guy is in-experienced, why do you think he's there, to receive experience and race. It's your duty as a supposed "Experienced driver," to be aware of certain obstacles that you could encounter.I'm not saying I could of reacted in an appropriate manner, but if a car kicks up dust in my rear view and is making a B-line straight at my car, I'm going to make some subtle movements to place me in another position.

@TerdFurg3zon I bought a 1984 Porsche 944 for $1,500. I dropped over $7.000 in parts completely redoing the car (I did all the work myself). Then, when my daughter was born, I turned around and sold it for $2,100 bucks. Hahah... did I get raped.

$30,000 down the toilet? Heck, it was down the toilet the day the owner's car cleared tech. The only one getting paid in club racing is the track. If that's the slightest bit unsettling, it's time to look for a cheaper hobby.

@dcrasta White car didn't run him off track. He wasn't even trying to pass.  He screwed the red car into making a mistake: Red car got scared, went wide, oversteered off track.

Classic Mosport T10. This exact thing has happened hundreds of times in that corner.

I would've given that guy a piece of my mind/fist after that was done and over. Don't push your damn luck and hold your position even when you drive right off the damn track... noobs...

starting @ 1:10 looks like the white car ran wide and forced the red car wide. I know with motorcycle racing people tend to give a little more room .. Running inside on someones door in a fast corner is not very friendly.. 2 cars destroyed because the white car got loose..
