Billings LGF Falcons B Squad

Coached for the first time for my LGF (little guy football) in 2009. I coached a very talented and athletic team, which actually didn't really develop until the middle of the season. a lot of these kids had never played before, and i was blessed to have gotten to coach them. I hope they all stick together, as they all have very bright futures ahead of them!

for you who want to know, we (the falcons b squad) went undefeated in the regular season, by the end of the season we were averaging only about 7 PA (points allowed) a game and averaging just over 24 points a game on offense. We were a power house. We beat all of the big powerhouses in the league, (the broncos and cowboys) though we struggled. We went 7-0 with a number 1 seed into the playoffs. We met the dolphins first game, which we had a come back win 20-13, with 2 or 3 TD's called back due to penalties, then we met the vikings in the second game, beating them 31-19. We made it to the rocky bowl (the championship game) to meet up with the hated broncos. They are always good in LGF, and we beat them 12-6 at the beginning of the year. We were their only loss, and they wanted revenge. We got down 20-0 at one point, and went into half time down 20-7. Our kids are fighters, and they never give up. We had struggled in playoffs, we were never ahead at the half in the playoffs, and had trailed big at halftime 2 out of the 3 games. (the first against the dolphins, in which we were down 13-0 at half). But like i said our boys battle and fight, and come back. some more info, LGF games do not have a time. They are tracked by the number of plays. there are 88 plays in a game, 22 per quarter. In the broncos game, we battled our way back, got to 20-12 going into the 4th quarter. We scored leaving 7 plays left in the game, we kicked the extra point, and PAT's in LGF count as 2 and going for it counts as 1. thats why everyone was so excited for the PAT as it tied the game up. The broncos got the ball, kick offs count as 1 play. They threw a bomb on the next play, to beat us leaving 2 plays in the game. they kicked off, we got tackled on the kick return, we decided to go for it all, but to lose. It was a heart breaking loss, but this kids are strong, and i believe in them. They have bright futures, and i had a lot of fun coaching. i would not take anything back we did.

for the record we beat u guys in the rocky but it was a good game and in 2010 you guys lost to the worst team in layoffs bronco smoked the dolphins but it was a god game i scored 4 tds in the rocky bowl and we kicked ur ass ..and all you guys do is blame the refs it only ause you guys were terrible sorry .

@MrTimtebow11 dude, no. sorry man. you didn't kick our ass period. you beat us in the rocky bowl congrats, but you didn't kick our ass. if i am not mistaken we came back to almost beat you in the rocky bowl in 2009...after being down 14-0. so really? we lost 20-27...thats not an ass kicking, thats a good game. we did lose to the dolphins but they were not the worst team in the playoffs. they were the #4 seed, and 8 teams make the playoffs. hmmmm. good try though. thats what playoffs are for.

Oh yeah, and also I had a couple catches (cause i played WR and TE) like the one where it was one handed in the my Eagles vs Vikings game my Eagles vs Steelers game, my Eagles vs Panthers game, and my Eagles vs Big Timber game. My Vikings Eagles game was the best i made a jumping ( and it i was also falling backwards) one handed grab landed then ran to the endzone.

Me and him have known and played football together for a long time. so i helped coach the falcons, and jake is my best bud who coached you! small world. Also, we finished 9-1..we went all the way to the rocky bowl where we lost to the broncos...of course. oh well! hope you still plan on playing! oh and i also played for the eagles when i was your age! b and A squad though.

I lived in billings and played lgf. it is the worst. i did play for the vikings. BEAT THE FALCONS IN THE PLAYOFFS! that was like two years ago. i did play middle school football at castle rock. THE B TEAM WENT 5-0! suck that falcons
