GOOD JOB, JoeDeafPreacher, I have BLUNT OPINION, too. No offense, I love you everyone! At topic is... Gay Marriage... if Christians have done good job disobeying God's commands to not divorce, yet Christians are divorcing... what kind of example do Gay people see? What if if if married people had been LOVABLE, not force to each other as Bible suggests and divorce rate is 5% instead of 50% then we would not be having Gay Marriage issue today. That is why I WON'T VOTE for Gay Marriage Ban.

What can I say? Wow, bravo to JoeDeafPreacher for making a stand against the rape culture here in America and pointing out that the Bible was misused in a way that enabled the degradation of women. Like indumamoon said, I wish there were more preachers like you. May the woman find the courage to leave the abusive relationship and the abusive church for better life.

Wow you're full of compassion sir - and I agree with all what you've said. I've been cornered like that by religion, not the same situation, but abuses and such. You're right with all. Even though I'm no longer religious, I believe that the earth needs more preachers like you with compassion and good amount of logic and empathy. Mind ya, I don't say this lightly. ;) In meantime, I wish her the best!

Moses wrote this....Deuteronomy 24....permit to divorce....Jesus permit divorce...Matthew 5:31 and 32...Matthew 19:3 to 10.... Talk about submit....if wife or husband could not submit her or him...it means their relationship is very bad shape and cannot stay in the marriage... See marriage counselors to find what was the problem...If one of these spouse lied before God...The spouse have the right to divorce due to abuse, affair, lies, drinking, drugs, rape, sex offenders, and Homosexual.
