And two months later, the fifth volume arrived! In this volume, the rock band Marillion gets sampled by someone I've already covered in the series before, last episode in fact. Poka. I guess I'm just a sucker for Poka. Anyway, we also got the newly discovered Flat Beat sample, which... was discovered some months ago, but... hey... It's not on YouTube yet. Also, I love the sample, so here it is. American French Machine, an underrated house act, samples Loleatta Holloway in pure french house fashion. So Awesome. Also, because Deadmau5's album For Lack of a Better Name comes out soon, which I'm stoked about, I take a look at one of his few samples, the Ghosts n Stuff Hard Intro.

The italian rapper Bassi Maestro too has sampled Marillion's "Kayleigh" in his 1992 song "Fai Memoria" ("Remember"). This time, the sample comes from the beginning of "Kayleigh".
