Actually, sounders (such as this MA/SS) are pretty much the same thing as a multi-tone electronic horn (such as the MT-24), but it is true that the MA/SS was intended to mimic European alarms.

the last of the Moose Z series of security panels.after the Z series, they went to ZX, and about 4 years later, they were bought out by Aritech, who sucks, and then Moose tried to make them better, but ended up making Aritech suck more.
