Again, I wasn't criticizing. I said if it works for you, then my post is irrelevant.
Its just not what I'm used to. For me personally when I try and overemphasize certain things I feel like the power and speed goes down. But that's just me.

I personally think the rising and sinking motions are a little over emphasized. The spine is supposed to be bent in a "C" shape so that it can straighten when strking high, and bend back down into a "C" when striking low. Not dropping the stance itself. The stance is supposed to be rigid.
Not really what I'm used to but if you can make it work then what I'm used to is irrelevant.
