Don't think so. Right now there isn't a single piece of evidence that points towards the idea that the United States organized the riots.

they are both to blame, but I believe Obama made it much worse when it would have corrected itself by now. also, congress-- both sides-- really screwed up. I hope we vote all of the career politicians out on their respective arses in 2012. just my opinion.

guys, what are you talking about? Let me remind you which country has actually trying to overthrow Iranian democratically elected leader in 1953-1956? the answer is - the US. THe US foreign policy is not spreading democracy, but rather installing puppet autocrats as R.Pehlevi in Iran, Pinochet in Chile, Batista in Cuba, and of course - the Saudi royal family and so on and so forth.
Let the democracies thrive without your American penny.
