PBR: Imprison Decisions

More footage of the Rain/hail team me and Mikurulatios2 made. As you can see, Deoxys is not a part of the team, thats because it was simply a filler for a pokemon that doesnt work as well in friend battles; Dusknoir.

Dusknoir's purpose is to hinder trick room related teams by using imprison to seal Trick Room, and due to Dusknoir's bulk, he can take a beating before being knocked out. Imprison also prevents the opponent Protect and Icy Wind from being used since they are on Dusknoir's moveset. Plus if Trick Room does get set up, Dusknoir can put it down if needed. The downside is that Dusknoir is basically a sitting duck after imprison goes up, since Icy Wind doesnt do much, and Dusknoir has to stay in the battle for Imprison to remain in effect.

@Aura5777 its not exactly an anti-trick room team, Dusknoir is there to act as a check against trick room teams, that and your team screamed trick room the instant I saw it.

I have seen this strategy before. I had this match against a japanese trainer who lead off with a Mismagius and a Giratina. He went for the Icy Wind to slow down my leads, but since it missed in both, he used Trick Room. I dubbed this strategy "I'll go first or I'll go first".

I believe PBR is the only way you can play 4th gen now, because I tried using the GTS on Diamond and SoulSilver, but neither connected, yet White connected fine.

Such a shame that Dusknoir can't get Helping Hand and Imprison on the same set legally. =(

Imprison is so awesome. It can really tie opponents up in knots when used!
