Offensive Christian Music

Here I describe my beef with Christian music. Jesus isn't your boyfriend and Christian music shouldn't be adapted love songs. Don't listen to bad quality music solely because it is Christian & especially if it's not actually about God!

So you find the statement "GOD is great" offensive? Because I could substitute any name is there. Doesn't change the fact that GOD is great.

Close your mouth and open your mind. Maybe if you spent less time judging people and their music, you could focus more on your life, and making it better.

You have a point... and it makes sense, but I don't think that it's wrong to have songs like that! We're all called to love, and be in a relationship with God! So of course there will be times when the relationship can be described in the same way as an earthly relationship! We do want to know the heart of Jesus, but we also what to know the hearts of the ones we love!
