Harvest Moon DS Cute - Reaching the Bottom of the 4th Mine

Okay. I FINALLY beat the 4th mine! 65,535 levels!!! It took me about 4 hours, 2 days, and 4 seperate times to play it. When I got out of the mines, it was only 10:30am. I thought time moves very slowly in the mines, and time moves depending how far down you are at. I guess I was wrong. It's how long you are in the mines, not the levels. I guess I learned something today. XD

I was so determined to beat it. I must beat it, because there is one random event that requires you to beat it, and that I must complete my game. I'm a completionist, FYI.

Gosh, I was kind of zoned out when I was near the end. I didn't even know I was almost there. Each level looks the same as the next. When I reached the end, I was completely shocked, and had to reload to record it. lol I wanted to record 1000 levels before the end, but I was, you know, zoned out. :P

How did I do it? Well, check my Tips video. I used some of those tips to beat the mine. And I was using an emulator, so my game was 2x as fast as normal.

Look at all the food I had. I didn't even need most of them. XD All I actually ate were:
-198 white grass
-20 black grass
-23 purple grass

All I actually used were:
-large Kappa Hat
-Truth Bangle
-Legendary Sword
-mythic hammer

I don't think I will even go back down the 4th mine ever again! XD Only for the Wonderful Stones, though.

P.S. The HG said "imagened" instead of "imagined". XD And... DIE THOMAS, DIE!!! XD Don't you think it's creepy how Thomas is at the bottom of the 4th mine doing business? D: He's definitely the Harvest King. No doubt about it.

I've officially done the 4th mine.

That was so hard!

I had to:

Dig around for a way down

Ditch the Wonderful stones

Finish off every single last evil animal

Smash every single rock, just to uncover a way down

Own Thomas...hehe

OK, the last one was a little joke. :P And it took me all morning and over half of the afternoon - it was 3.30 - 4.30pm by the time I left.

But I chose a good day to go - New Year's Eve.

This game always seemed odd to me, there are some seriously rediculous requirements for just some of the Harvest Spirites, and then there's getting the requirements for marrying the Harvest Goddess and so forth, you'd need to put literally hundreds if not thousands of hours into the game just to 100% it .(Oh and don't forget about that small island that you're required to get at 900,000,000 Gil) I can see what Natsume was going for, but I think they went overboard.

@Slimjimmybob Yeah, the game really is hard. Good for completionists, though.

However, I find making money is easy if you just level up your crops. Though, I do think the sprites have ridiculous requirements. The mines are evil, too, but I have ways to beat them without too much trouble.

Okay I need help with this I have on my items list as having a mythic ore but my inventory doesn't have any and idk if I hve to upgrade tools first to mistryl or what please help me thanks!

@MyGermanshepards Mystrile comes before mythic. Mythic is the highest upgrade, after blessed. Mystrile is the fourth upgrade and your tools must be at 400% to be able to upgrade them to mystrile.

I hate how Guts and the Harvest Goddess have to rub it in your face that you don't get anything.

"Hey! You made it to the bottom of this mine!"

Character: "Oh good, that's what I was trying to do!"

"Yeah, well, you don't get anything special for it."

Character: "I know... I just kind of wanted to get to the bottom..."

"You still get nothing!"

@Tranquilbutterfly28 First you must find all 6 cursed tools, bless all of them, and then the mythic tools will be obtainable once you've done all of those. You'll have to smash the rocks to look for them, not dig BTW. Oh and the floor numbers you mentioned are correct, you just need to follow the requirements.

3rd mine:

-From floor 0 to floor 255, on any floor that ends in 0

-From floor 256 to floor 999, on any floor that ends in 5

NOTE:

These special jewels are randomly hidden in the rocks that you will need to smash with your hammer.

finding mythic stones:

FIRST upgrade all your 6 tools (Axe, Fishing Pole, Hammer, Hoe, Sickle and Watering Can) to Mystril.

AFTER YOU UPGRADED your tools, the cursed tools will randomly appear on some of these levels in the 3rd mine:24,35,48,52,68,71,87,99,1­06,118,124, 135,142,153,162,178,185,197.(Y­OU HAVE TO DIG THEM OUT OF THE DIRT).

THEN call the church and order to bless them for 100.000$. THEN mythic stones will appear here: (read my following comment)
