Benchmade Infidel Out of the Front - Double Action Full Auto Knife

Review: This knife is an over priced piece of shit by Benchmade. The spring is very underpowered, it has the weakest spring out of all the high end models. Be advised not to waste your money on any OTF that Benchmade makes because you will be disappointed. Buy a Microtech Scarab Dual Edge or if you like the face plate trigger instead then buy a Piranha Excalibur. In my opinion Benchmade falsely advertises this as a good knife to have in a combat situation and it is far from that. Infact the NATO Tomb Raider model has a harder deploying spring and is more reliable than this model. The best model right now is the Piranha Excalibur by far for a double action.

  • it wont go through paper because they do it for safety

  • @themegajosh09 Where do these idiots come up with this? Does it state that on the manufactures website? No it does not because that is a load of bullshit? Pure crap. No seller selling them has this, no one other than the forum morons and the village idiots say this short of shit. So enjoy your pea brain moron thoughts on things and live in your deluded world while the rest of us live in reality. The simple truth is that it is a piece of shit period.

  • @Roadsideimports just saying.... would you like it if it snagged on your pants and stabbed you in the leg??

  • @themegajosh09 It is not a safety feature and it can not deploy in your pants, it is suppose to take some force to trigger it. That is why Microtech models Piranha and every other OTF that is double action all don't have safeties because they really are not needed because of the tension on the trigger. This is the truth, not some BS crap about the spring for deployment.

  • @Roadsideimports microtechs wont go through paper either

  • @themegajosh09 Depends on the model. That is why I used dagger blades. This was specific to dagger blades, except for the MOD it has serious balls behind it and the tanto even kicks through, so those people with brains out there understand this, idiots with stupid ideas won't understand. So if you were using your brain you can clearly see by the knife I used and the experiment that MOD made the best lockup deployment out of all of them.

  • lol i don't have enough money to buy a benchmade, so boycotting should be easy

  • That paper test you did is a response to the built in safety mechanism so it doesn't stab your leg in your pocket.

Did you test it before or after you took it apart.

    Fuckin idiot.

  • you admit that the wise know a fixed blade should always be used for the task, then you go on to bad mouth the co.? supply and demand meets darwins theory. the weak of mind demand it, benchmade of course is going to satisfy that demand, it fails the inferior user dies, the heard is cleansed. simple really. actually you need to stop alerting the idiots that would use this thing and just let nature take its course.

  • @braedenR This knife you are talking about may be a peice of shit, but all autos are... so whats your point???? the blades have so much bloody play.

  • @Roadsideimports Holy shit fellas... K, First off, why the hell would you buy an auto knife anyway??? what is the reason for it when you can buy a folder that is WAY more sturdy and you can flick it out just as fast or faster???? without the restrictions everywhere... auto knives are pointless. Personally I loeve benchmade knives. I have several folders of their's and they are all built with quality materials and parts, and have amazing craftsmanship.

  • i bought two of these and took them with me when i deployed to iraq they are great for the first few months then they steadily stop working, the blade dulls quickly, i have one that fails to deploy and then fails to retract piece of crap. for $350 bucks you could buy a better knife

  • Hello, What's a good one under $100? Do you sell knifes? Thank for your time.

  • its a knife dude yes i know it is a peice of shit and a switchblade is not for military and law enforcment it is merly a thug or street knife and or a knife for a last ditch effort at protecting your self it is not a ka bar its a knife that is for killing and nothing else just somthing to kill with as a gangster would thing
