The song is not actually about "short people". It is about people that are "little" as in people that are vain and shallow.

Also, I'm perfectly aware that you calling me a prick, doesn't require me to have one, I was responding to that only because you called me a 'little prick', emphasis being on the 'little', which struck me as heavily ironic when someone criticising something for displaying 'heightism', whilst inadvertently being heightist himself.

"Pervasive heightism"? Please, listen up. This is not heightist in any way. It's satire. Randy Newman is using exaggeration to make a social criticism of people who are 'short' in mind, meaning people who are close-minded, shallow, self-absorbed and vain, as many people seem to be these days. And I was either going to call your question ill-thought-out, or just plain dumb, as, for someone who has studied philosophy and logic 'for years', you don't seem to have much common sense.

No what's amazing is how pervasive heightism is in our society and how people attempt to cover it up. My question was not "ill-thought-out", I've studied logic and philosophy for years. And also my reference to you as a prick doesnt mean you have one. Can you think that one out?
