The Conservatives have been voicing concerns in the House of Commons about the angry union members who have been visiting their offices with some pretty strong opinions on how their rights are being attacked by their own government. If they're weak in the knees on this, it'll be interesting to see how they can handle what's to come! You don't take on the people of a nation without expecting a lot of angry people (unless your head is in a cloud.)

  • Would we have maternity leave here in Canada if it weren't for Unions? Answer: No.

Is maternity leave good or bad? Answer: ______

  • @keys132000 Anything that benefits those in need is good by my book.

  • Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The sheep love the system. However, their awakening is coming as more and more sheep get f*cked up the a**.

Lower pay today, accept the mark to collect your pension tomorrow. Don't worry, Elenin will save them. <-----things that make you go hhmm Do not take the mark. Stop defending the system it's broke/n. Our only answer is a spiritual one and it's our Father in Heaven, not man. This is an unpopular message, yet the only one for this hour

  • @FUscrewtube I agree that we need a spiritual revolution. The system we have is based on greed and the exploitation of natural resources which are dying. It is collapsing, will collapse, and by simple logic and moral judgment, needs to collapse. In the meanwhile, it's hard watching things get worse and worse, and people defending their heartless establishment values.

  • @teapartytoronto How can you prioritize business over people? I guess paying workers a lower wage is more profitable for companies, which is why we see so many of our jobs being exported to other countries, and the U.S. is seeing the same from it's beloved "job-creators". What creates jobs? Government spending has been proven to create jobs.

Big business care more about profit than the wellbeing and rights of ordinary human beings. If you share these values, I am deeply, deeply concerned.

  • @ROlshansky1 You either have the IQ of a straw or you're a troll. Either way, bye.

  • @Neurolanis I'm glad to see you regrets the video - there is hope for you! Moreover, you are principled in your continued support for unions over small businesses. You are even unapologetic when you support postal workers' ridiculous wages (starving authors should not defend them). Yet you do seem ignorant on the topic of arbitration - which PMs did before - and the caucus issue - which did not limit the party's voting rights. Cheers for your overripe imagination and undernourished intellect!

  • @ROlshansky1 5. It was not legislation at all, it was an internal matter in the party that would have limited the party's ability to choose who leads. It essentially would have protected Stephen Harper. My wording in the video was a little off, hence the annotations.

  • @Neurolanis 2. Harper is lowering the pay on the amount offered by Canada post for all *current* workers. The cuts in pay for future workers is a separate matter. You are confusing the two.

    3. No, arbitrators do not always pick one side. They are supposed to look at both sides and makes an independent decision. This is the first time in history that a prime minister has ordered an arbitrator to pick one side.

  • @ROlshansky1 @ROlshansky1 I see, you don't understand this subject. Let me explain. 1. The union workers were bargaining for 8 months, 2 of which were after the contract ended and CP cut off all their benefits! Even after this, they used rotating strikes as to avoid a lockout. The union is not stupid and they knew Harper would be on the corporation’s side. There was never going to be a "severe, economically punishing strike." LOL. There was, however, an economically troubling *lockout* by CP...
