We need help.
Is our daughter suffering from infantile spasms? She has these attacks now for over a week. Usually in the evenings. They last between 2 to 15 seconds and appear in cluster. We have been to hospital a few days ago. The EEG didn't show anything. Our daughter was born with a congential cataract. Now we are worried that there might be more to it.

  • have you had any news since this video?? my daughter does the same thing and would like to hear how your daughter is doing now

  • My son has infantile spasms. These do not look like "typical" infantile spasms. This is not to say it could not be because I'm not a doctor. Looks like it could maybe be some type of seizure, but I would guess a partial seizure. Infantile Spasms' appearances differ from child to child and sometimes evolve over time with the same child, but most present as a startle reflex (arms and knees jerk and eyes roll) or a head drop. I hope you have found some answers by now.
