  • Although I always liked the melody of this number, at 19 I never fully appreciated how beautiful and expressive the lyrics really are until now. It's too bad youth is wasted on the young.

  • Didn't realse he had such an illustrious history in the studio with The Beatles, Pink Floyd etc. Always thought he was some weird northern novelty singer though always found this song quite haunting & catchy bringing back great memories of being a kid in the early 70s.

  • First heard it driving my 1970 Chevy Nova on the 76 Expressway coming home from a bad double date in Phila. Going about 75 miles an hour. The minute I heard it I loved it! My Yellow Nova was moving very good.

  • grandson. 19 months old, cries when I don't replay this over and over.. I played it for him when he was a baby and he has LOVED it ever since. God help us endure a great song over and over 20 times a day!

  • Love, Love this.. thanks..

  • Ya, that's for me. That's where I wanna go! Sweep me off my feet. My love awaits you! Oh, Babe, what would you say???

  • Great Song Always loved it. The sound is as if it took you back in time to another era. Great to dance to

  • I remember him performing this on top of the pops. I wasn't in a position to buy records then (only 11 yrs old) But I really liked it. And thanks to the web was able to buy it and the follow up single last year. Great song, so different from what was in the charts at the time.

  • Bravo Norman there's a special place in Heaven for people who spread love and joy

such as you have in this song .

  • After working as an engineer for the Beatles for years, it's awesome Hurricane Smith ventured out on his own when he was 40+ years old and came up with this gem. Brings back 5th grade puppy love memories, tx for posting.
