Crash of Esky Nemo caught on FlyCamOne2

Wind was out of the Southwest, so the runway approach took Nemo over the ball fields with lighting towers. I shot two perfect landings and things were looking good. That's what I get for being cocky about my RC piloting skills...You can almost read the wattage of the bulb on that light tower, just before Nemo plastered head-on into it. I tried to throttle up and recover, but the motor had been knocked from the mount. The FlyCam stayed with Nemo and recorded the action as it spun-in to the right field grass below the tower. With it's EPP foam construction, Esky's Nemo is known for it's tank-like durability and this crash proved that out. The landing gear easily bent back into position, a new bolt and a spot of glue re-attached the motor and mount to the fuselage and the left wing only had a 1/16 inch dent in the leading edge.

Nemo is repaired now, and ready to fly another day.

hi, i liked your video . but i need an information from you abt your nemo plane that what motor is it? i have same nemo 3d but never had a good flight. now guys tell me that i need to replace my motor and install brushless motor. so wat is ur motor?

@Shaitaan7 It's a little park flyer brushless/ESC combo I got at GraysonHobby (dot) com for $25USD. Go to their site and search: Tower Pro 2408-21 Star & GraysonHobby 20A ESC Combo (StickMount). I'd give the exact url but YT blocks it in these comments. The specs are there in case you will be trying to buy direct from China instead of from Grayson. I like this motor combo so much that I bought a second identical one after a bad crash. It's all the power Nemo needs.

@j6sj7 You also need an 8X4 (smaller) prop and I run on a 1000mAh 3 cell lipo, (Esky #000172).

1: the black dot is a thing that the camera records as the sun to still get a good shot and not hurt your eyes.

2: he crashed into pole with speakers.
