Would you pay $2 to $3 more to watch a movie in 3D? Within the next few years more movies will be made in 3D to enhance the viewers experience but there is an issue - not enough 3D camera to make all the new movies. Richard Hart joins Ken Rutkowski to paint the picture of the 3D future.
There are 3 technologies but the two mentioned are the most comon , Real D = circular polarization , Dolby 3D = RGB color shift and Xpand active shutter glasses. Dolby 3D and Xpand both can use a normal screen , Real D and any polarization system require a special screan covering that mantains the image polarization when reflected from the screan.
