An already established writer he undertook a new venture in 2006 as one half of the duo him 'n' im, he penned an 'unofficial' World Cup ditty "We're going to do quite well .. injury permitting!" which received radio play up and down the country.

John's reputation for thinking on his feet and confidently and cleverly adapting his show to any audience has ensured him many TV warm-ups such as Later with Jools Holland and enabled him to travel all over the world from performing in Dubai and Bahrain to appearing in high profile shows on cruise liners in the Med and Carribean. His high energy and warm personality makes him an ideal compere, stand-up or presenter for any Comedy Club or corporate event.
