  • There's another one here on YouTube that advertises Heinz Worcestershire sauce, which features a nervous announcer being unable to pronounce "Worcestershire" only when he's holding the sponsor's product.

  • Sure enough. Seems Thurl Ravenscroft had the gravitas and good taste to associate with & do voice for John Hubley as far back as Columbia Studios' Prof. Small and Mr. Tall way back in 1942. He can also be heard on Hubley's UPA classic Rooty Toot Toot from '53.

  • Thanks for posting this! My mom used to recite the lines in this commercial verbatim for my brother and I. It was one of her favorites growing up. :)
