Where yall located?
Down here in Georgia, we mainly use strip tillage, running the planter behind a 8 row KMC ripper. Conserves fuel, fights erosion and shatters soil compaction.

@MultiBaldEagle We farm in the North eastern part of Missouri near Hannibal, Mo. We use vertical tillage anymore. It has worked great so far. Id be interested in trying to strip till some corn but without RTK it would be difficult to follow the strips but I think its a great idea.

the corn was killed this spring due to rain/flooding we went in and replanted it in the spots that needed it
