@realina they must have atleast knew of each other because don't they show byakua as a kid in the filler training and what's her face shows up to mock him? Also byakua brought it apon himself that he would be the 1 to kill him alone even though he knew he could get help but might be wrong : / if I am sorry filler story lines hard to keep track of lol

Kouga is the ex-husband of the little sister of Byakuya father... practically is his uncle, but if I remember correctly he left the family before Byakuya was ever born, for that they do not know each other...
