It is my understanding that the hcr has passed, with Stupak agreeing only upon the promise of an executive order against abortion coverage. Executive orders are, however, unenforceable and may be overturned. In short: abortion access has been restricted, but it may be short term. It has not been restricted in the private sector, as originally planned.

On a personal note, my mind is not at all closed in one direction or another. I see both sides of the issue and strive to maintain an opinion that coincides with logic, reason, and rationale instead of my emotions. I believe education and dialog is the key to unlocking our similarities and beautiful differences.


Fun fact, the title of this video was the title of one of the first videos I ever posted on youtube when I was 18. It was also about abortion. :P

1- rape. Small percentage, still there. You can take all the precautions with safe sex, but it's possible you can get pregnant.

3. I was born, yes. I was dealt a shit life. What about the kids born and given up for adoption? What about the kids that are born and are killed by their parents? SBS, SIDS, neglect, starvation, abuse, jailing, drugs, alcohol, bad parenting choices, being to young, being mentally unstable etc.

There is no discussion with someone who uses Hitler to slander opposing views and uses the dogmatic fear of hell to threaten them. Abortion is not mass genocide of fully developed humans. You can call it murder all you want, but if I were a child under your roof I would sincerely have chosen death over being raised by a brainwashed, potentially impoverished loon such as yourself. My sympathies for any of your children that know no better than the fear of hellfire.

I am Catholic...and I would never ever get an abortion.

However!!!

I think that Christians need to focus more on getting help for women who can't take care of their unborn children...as opposed to telling people outside abortion clinics "All babies want to get borned!"

A lot of times women will get an abortion due to environmental pressure from their family, husband, lover, etc.

Adoption is not always an option. Not everyone gets adopted, especially minortities and children born with disabilities. Though its easy to throw out "put up for adoption" that is not a reality for many unwanted pregnancies. I do not think this is a black and white issue.

Peoples reasons against abortion are beautiful. But did you know that in the USA alone there are over 408,425 children in foster care?

If a couples goal was to save a child from poverty or a foster home, why not adopt one of the 408,425 children that are in immediate need of a family?

Everyday children are brought into a world where sometimes their basic needs wont be met and they have young parents who don't know what they're doing. It causes useless drama and only scars the child in the end.

I'm against abortion 100%. I would never kill my child, even thou people dont see "fetus" as a baby i do. the moment that child is conceived it has a future ahead planed for it. also she failed to mention after you have an abortion u might not be able to conceive again and infections can still happen. adoption or raising the child is the best way. give someone who cant conceive a child best gift ever.
