Moose Haas has one of the strangest autos I've seen. Lopata was one of several players to send me a McCarthy postcard with autograph request, as Grant Jackson sent you. Al Rosen was one of my first autographs in the mail. How many Vern Law autographs do you have? Met Mike Ramsey's in-laws in Montreal at an Expost game. Tekulve? People say I look like him. Some guy even asked me for his autograph in Athens. Nice Pat Hughes story - now you have to get Ronnie Woo Woo!
I met Ronnie Woo Woo 10 years ago at Cubs spring training before I knew who he was. I figured he was just a crazy homeless guy which is what he is except that he's famous, at least in the Chicago land area. He had on giant hiking boots and a dirty cubs uniform. He told us that he had just got back from hiking in the Grand Canyon. I hope that was true.
