I was listening this song (I was 13) and my father said : "hey I danced that 20 years ago!" and gave me an old vinyl (single) of the shocking blue, I couldn't stop listening to it!!

Dear god, this was in the charts the first time I went to BANG at the Astoria...I was 16, the bouncer asked if I knew it was a gay club.

Oh My God! I remember watching this actual performance in 1990 - 4 years after Bananarama's version and thinking that this was a total rip-off of the original 1970 Shocking Blue version. Needless to say, I enjoyed dancing to this version in the clubs...
