Obama: Economy Headed in Right Direction

President Barack Obama says the economy is headed in the right direction, but not fast enough to satisfy him or many Americans. The president spokes as a new report showed that the unemployment rate dropped to the lowest level in almost a year. (July 2)

The stim bill was a waste, we are indebted over our eyeballs, unemployment is hovering around 9.8% and we are looking at higher taxes, cap and take your money, and a failing Obamacare--yet we are heading in the right direction. Unless you like the direction of bankruptcy I dont agree. Is he really going to run for re election of this line of crap?

Hey, let people make at least $3,000 over their Social Security in a given month before you withdraw any check for that month. Don't make them requalify to continue benefits because you're talking stress! People already sick, disabled, or just a little depressed about their situation are not going to feel safe with that! That's not motivation! You're encouraging vegetation, and higher health costs! They lack the ability to earn on a consistent basis and totally exposed living on the street!

There's a real potential to offset Social Security costs with taxes and health savings because people are healthier working brain and body instead of vegetating! If a person can earn an extra $1,000 a month(not likely consistent due to market forces), that's about $200 cut from the cost of Social Security because of offsetting taxes paid on that $1,000! What's not to understand?! We're being dumb and running up more debt than a smarter system would cost! Every little bit helps!

Listen, if you're getting penalized for making more than Social Security gives you, YOU'RE IN A FINANCIAL PRISON! Real cost of living is always greater than government gives! There's no rent control! Banks corruptly raise your credit card rates, where's your money to fight them?! You can't afford a lawyer or travel to where credit cards say you have to for justice?! Why not let recipients earn more than their Social Security check?!

Stop robbing Social Security to fund illegals. Social Security needs redefining. If the system is benefiting you greatly, that's your Social Security and you shouldn't expect to receive what you put in. THE WAY SOCIAL SECURITY IS RIGHT NOW, IT'S A PONZI SCHEME! The problem is not too many poor people getting too much! It's paying doctors too much to screw people's health up and over charge Social Security! It's people that don't need or not qualified to receive Social Security!

Cut high income earners off Social Security payments because the system has given them security many don't have! Capitalism isn't a fair system and there's no reason that people getting other benefits, incomes, and have real values and investment more than 300,000 should get more than $3,000 a month in Social Security payments. If they have more than $3,000/mo incomes, they should get zip! Give them Medi-care and that's it. Don't extend the age requirement but a younger work force age!

Another thing Obama should stop doing is talking about cutting Medi-care and Social Security. The real problem with entitlements is the cost of care is outrageous and of such poor quality it needs regulating to cost the government less and a way of putting cameras in the doctor's office. Stop letting doctors pump people full of med's that require another med to cure it, and another, etc., until you have 7-10 you're taking!
