In the "Iconoclasts: Alicia Keys + Ruby Dee" episode of "Iconoclasts," Singer/songwriter Alicia Keys and actor Ruby Dee discuss their shared passions for performance and poetry in the context of the social climates of their times. The women stroll through Harlem where they discover their childhood homes were only a few blocks from one another. They visit the American Negro Theater where Dee got her start as an actor and Keys' alma mater, Professional Performing Arts School, where she performs a song from of her upcoming album "As I Am". They visit Teens in Motion, the outreach program in the South Bronx where Keys was discovered, to speak to a group of aspiring performers. Directed by Bruce Sinofsky.
