Miniature Schnauzer caught on canvas

Dog guest Seamus gets caught on canvas by artists Wyllie O Hagan.

This miniature schnauzer is a lovely calm natured dog, a real sweetheart.

We were supposed to be working on a new art project for exhibition in The Netherlands this Summer.

We were reminded of our tutors at art college, who urged us to be adventurous in our work, and to push the boundaries. Most of our tutors then retired to Tuscany in Italy and painted their villas:)

We don't have an Italian villa, we most certainly are not retiring - and we are more that happy to paint our dogs friends)

beautiful and spirited rendering! I once painted my grandmother's Yorkie! (long long ago in another life!)
