(First off, I suck - still learning, but check my newer MPC videos.)
Digging around some old records and sampling bits and pieces from The Band, The Rolling Stones, Average White Band and The Big Chill Soundtrack, I had some random samples to try to put something together on an MPC 2500. Results are.. interesting, to say the least.

This video shows some spontaneous beats and then the eventual track, recreated by turning on and off 2-bar loops in sequence.
