The medium evidence could be evidence of telepathy rather than life after death.

Telepathy is more likely to exist since it would have a function in survival, for instance to know you are in danger or to have a pre-sense of disaster would be of merit to survival.

Life after death goes against survival, in my mind it brings up the following question:

if life exist after death what is the need for survival or evolution in the first place?

@MDEMONIC689 Yes, it could be just telepathy, but mind-to-mind communication could be how the process works, from the medium's mind to the mind of the personality that survives death.

Life after death IS survival, not of the body, but of the consciousness of the person who inhabited the body. Just as humans evolved from simple organisms, so does the human consciousness. You can see this in sociology, psychology, politics, etc.

I don't trust mediums. Cold readings can be too easily duplicated by very natural, very explainable magic tricks.

That's your choice to trust or not to trust. Yes, "cold reading" does exist and everyone should be aware of how cold reading works. However, it is illogical to say that because some frauds use cold reading to mimic mediumship, that all mediums are frauds.

@cantankerouslandlord There's nothing "cold" about this. In fact, part of the research involved having professional cold readers attempt to replicate the results and they could not -- simply because they have no access to all the usual "tells" i.e. face, feedback, physical stuff, etc.

The skeptics are right in that we forget all the misses, and MOST are misses. But where they go wrong is in ignoring the QUALITY of the hits. Even one or two QUALITY hits mean that there is something going on that is way beyond our scientific understanding. In these tests there are at least 3 QUALITY HITS that are unexplainable unless consciousness survives death. Wow.

@IntuitiveTeacher science today mainstream anyway is wrong and miss guided they formulate a theory saying that life began on earth but there is no proof or direct experience of that and also there are structures in the universe that is 200 million light-years across 700 million light-years long but 20 million light years thick which is one supercluster complexesmapped.

I don't trust them either but when they put them behind screens so they couldn't read the person. Then they were able to log data about the heart rate of the tested person and the medium. IT was very interesting.
