The second bass is just for looks...watch the drum solo video on agustburnsred's channel, it has a view of his feet and the second pedal is a slave and isn't even hitting the second bass.

thats set up looks so wrong!! if your gonna have 2 kicks you gotta have toms in the middle,having them over one kick looks terible
