Six sailors who survived the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor return for the 67th anniversary.

Six crew members of the USS Arizona, one of eight Pacific Fleet battleships bombed during the attack on Pearl Harbor 67 years ago, returned yesterday to pay homage to their lost comrades.

Five of the sailors - Ed Wentzlaff, Glenn Lane, Lauren Bruner, Joe Langdell and Milton Hurst - were assigned to the 608-foot battleship when the bombs and torpedoes hit.

The sixth - Tom Traylor - left the Arizona before the early-morning Japanese attack.

  • MOHAIRBORNE, I knew Glenn well. I rented a house from him and he was simply a great American.

  • My family happens to be very good friends with Lauren, and ever since I found out he was a U.S.S. Arizona survivor, let alone a Pearl Harbor survivor, I have enjoyed and cherished every moment I've spent with him.

  • My Great Grandpa is Glenn Lane.

  • 65 years from now, people probably won't remember 9/11. :(

  • I cant believe teenagers and kids forget about this day. December 7, 1941 changed our lives forever and they dont even remember a vital piece of our history. I am deeply ashamed

  • I can't believe these guys are still alive, what a piece of history. Thank you for sharing it.
